What’s next?

Hi everyone! It feels like ages since I’ve last posted anything on the blog. Honestly, I was just so busy with the university and finishing my Master’s degree, that I didn’t even think about this website. But now that all is finished, what will I do now? What now?

When I finished my BA in Media and Communication, I didn’t know what to do. I tried looking for jobs, but then I decided that I want to continue with my education. Honestly, going to university and taking my education as far as I can, has been my dream since I was little. It’s also something my parents have always wanted for me. So I tried to look for some Master’s degrees but couldn’t find anything that would suit my interests. But then I got a recommendation to study publishing. I mean… Talking about books and how to make books, that’s a dream, isn’t it?

And what are the plans for the blog now that I finally have all the time to put into it? In following days/weeks there will be a review of Normal People by Sally Rooney, a review of 12 Rules of Life by Jordan B. Peterson and a photo diary from York. The review of Normal People was supposed to come out ages ago, but I dove into the uni work and didn’t really work on anything else. I will also bring back to life my Instagram, so if you want to stay on top of all content and news, follow @theliteratureempire. You’ll see there loads of book photos, but I’ll try to add some different content as well. And if you just want to chat and catch up, you can find The Literature Empire on Facebook as well.

This article was just for me to say a quick hi to everyone and to tell you about some fun content you can expect landing on the blog very soon.

I hope that all of you are well and that pandemics didn’t interfere with your life too much.

See you soon!

Eva
